Hey family, here's a prayer for someone who may be going through depression. Let's pray. Father God, I feel overwhelmed with sadness. I feel like I'm being suffocated by these heavy thoughts. Lord, your word teaches me in 1 Peter 5:7 to cast my cares upon you. So today, I give you my worries, my doubts, and my fears. Jesus, I know you experience sorrow and grief, too. Thank you for understanding what I'm going through. Encourage me, Holy Spirit, that if Jesus made it through his suffering, that I'm going to make it through with his power. Lord, help me to overcome these downcast feelings. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
