A prayer for a friend or family member that may be going through drug addiction. I know I've had some family members who have struggled with this. And you often feel hopeless, like you can't do anything for them. But the one thing you can do for them is pray for them. Let's pray. Lord, help them break free of their addiction. Lord, give them the strength to change. Lord, show them another way to relieve their pain. Lord, help them accept the support of others who care about them, who can help heal them, including doctors, counselors, family, and friends. Lord, remove the craving for drugs and give them a hunger for you. Lord, give them a new start, a fresh start. Lord with healthy habits like prayer and meditation to replace their former drug habit. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
