Full Prayer Text
Hey family, this is a prayer for those who may be going through a season of depression. Father God, I thank you right now as your words in 1 Peter 5:7. I cast all my cares, all my worries, all my doubts, all my fears. Lord, I give them to you right now. Father God, help me. Help me out of this state of depression. Father God, I thank you right now that your word says you heal the brokenhearted. You bind up their wounds. So right now, Father God, I give you this emotion of being depressed. Father God, I know that your prophet Elijah was depressed. And Father God, you told him to rest, to recover, to change his focus. So, Father God, I thank you right now that I cast down every vain imagination that exalts itself against the knowledge of you. Lord, I thank you that Father God, your word is 1st Samuel 30 and6 that David encouraged himself in the Lord. So today, Father God, I thank you that this too shall pass. Lord, I thank you that weeping may endure for night, but joy cometh in the morning time. Lord, I thank you that the joy of the Lord is my strength. Lord, I thank you right now that your word says you'll give me beauty for ashes. So, Father God, I thank you right now that this depression must go and your joy must come. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
